Canada agreed to “forever discharge” Catholic entities from their promise to raise $25 million for residential school survivors and also picked up their legal bill, a final release document shows.
Like all questions around accountability, the question is who made the decision? How was that decision made? Who ultimately signed off on this?

@disk4mat these are the kinds of agreements & deals harper made that forever discharged bad actors from paying what they owed to those most marginalized by what those bad actors did. he did this w/ the saudis, w/ the catholics, w/ the racists/domestic terrorists. & then trudeau gets flack for being stuck w/ things he can't undo b/c of the legal entanglements harper specifically left behind.
he was one of the smartest pms we've ever had. regretfully, he was also one of the most evil. bad combo.
