This is reality now. About a week ago I managed cut up tree that had fallen into the channel two years ago. Channel is dry until the winter rains come. Today I managed to get all of the wood up the hill to fence gate. Hopefully I can move it all under cover with the cart before it starts raining this evening. It will be nice to have a fire in the fireplace. 🔥

It was colder in the house than it was outside so I opened all the windows and doors to enjoy one of the final days of temps in the 70s. Right now it's 74°. The rains are coming in later tonight.

I vaguely remember a time when I cared about Friday and/or the weekend.
