Israel may "win" the battle for Gaza and destroy Hamas (who deserves to be annihilated), but I don't know if Israel will ever recover from being vanquished in the information war and largely world-wide court of public opinion. I'm afraid the death of so many Palestinian children will stain Israel for a long, long time.

Israel defeating Hamas is crucial but destroying the Palestinian people and their ability to live normal lives offers no solution to the animosity that already exists...
@TomB @EdgeOErin I believe Israel will help Gaza rebuild after HAMAS is removed. Don't assume anything right now. Right now removing the cancer that is HAMAS is the priority. It must be. How many kidnapped victims do they still have? HAMAS cannot be allowed to survive.
@danielbsmith @TomB I do agree Hamas must be wiped out. I'm not sure what the end game is, but I do not subscribe to the theory that the end justifies the means.
