@normsmusic The #2ndAmendment refers to what we now call the National Guard which is under the authority of the governor of each state. The 2nd Amendment was written to protect state's rights from federal overreach and the fear that a future federal government could corruptly turn against its own citizens. It is not and never was a blanket excuse for excessive gun laws by individuals. #GunReform
