From what I vaguely recall, it was some thing where people would suddenly "rise up" and basically burn the country down from all 50 states at once, just for shits and giggles.

They had multi prong attacks planned, that would disrupt communications and infrastructures like highway systems, airports, power, water, etc while simultaneously causing carnage in all the major cities.

Truly frightening shit but I wrote it off as post apocalyptical fan fiction.
