@KazzyH
yeeeep, the Kennebec River hasn't had a decent freeze in the last 6 years now. I miss smelting
@Priestess gotta ask if you're fine with sharing what's your solar kwh/month vs total cost for the setup(monthly?) vs what you're paying monthly for remaining power needs +
what that looked like before solar + whats the cost for a watt from the grid?
I want to go solar but the life of the panels vs the loan I'd take out right to pay for them would have it so I'd end up paying more for panels if the cost of natural gas(primary grid power gen) fell or my growth of power consumption increased.
I will probably not even bother filling and starting the pellet stove tonight.
I'll let my furnace kick on at 60F if it gets so cold overnight or 64F around 5 am if it gets so cold.
Heck I might not even start the pellet stove tomorrow I may tell the furnace to raise the house temp to 66/67f and then let mother nature do the rest.
This whole week is supposed to be very warm. I dread what could happen to trees and vegetation with multiple 40-degree temp swings.

To continue this.
last year I bought 4 TONS(8000lb) of PELLETS and had 20 BAGS(ish) remaining + dropped my oil tank from 1/2 to just under a 1/4th.
I Again BOUGHT 4 TONS and FILLED THE TANK UP TO JUST ABOVE 3/4ths
THE TANK IS BARELY BELOW 3/4TH, AND I HAVE SLIGHTLY OVER 2 TONS(4000LB) OF PELLETS LEFT + LAST YEARS 20(ish) BAGS (1000lb)
THIS IS NOT NORMAL.
I SHOULD BE BURNING MY "COLD DAYS" pellets right now.
I was burning my "NOT SO COLD DAYS" pellets & even that is too much.

How the COVID-19 virus makes itself more infectious
Upon infecting a host, SARS-CoV-2 manipulates its cellular machinery to modify an enzyme that then turbocharges Spike's ability to invade other cells. The enzyme, abbreviated as ZDHHC20, normally tags proteins with a little fat molecule that changes the way they work.

A shot of the Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah a few years ago.
Savannah has such interesting graveyards. If you haven't seen them, they're worth a visit.
@DevinY1 yeaaaaaaah I'm hearing the same from some D voters as well
@th3j35t3r What is even more sad is to see the replies fawning over the idea like it is going to just wipe out all competition. π
