This can be used in conjunction with #twitter archive file to grab more data FYI
#cosotech
not sure how I managed to find it, I think it was because I scrolled back in time. But apparently, I was member 3323 to join and that was probably on the day after Coso's inception.
I still need to get "There's an unequal amount of good and bad in most things. The trick is to figure out the ratio and act accordingly." tattooed on me.
@MrsE0113 same but I've followed J for years before counter social and loved his outlook on life and the tango downs ;) oh and the occasional redirect to mossad
I am no. 48. Don't ask me why or how. All I know is 5 yrs ago, I was following J on the Twit site for about a year. I found him to be fascinating.. such a smart ass. He made me laugh. Made me think. I like that.
Then he kept posting counter.social. Just that.. nothing else. No explanation. Nothing. So after seeing it for a few days, I clicked on it.
AND....the rest is history.
I'm still here and I love it. ๐
@ErieMom 200 left I wonder what the ratios between management, "grunts" with the kingdom keys, and just the "grunts" is
@DeadlyAccurate well the weather sure is enjoyable, beats the -2c I woke up to this morning, unfortunately it being another country won't work for me at this time :/ while the company I work for is fully remote I have to do it from the US:/
@DeadlyAccurate where the hell r you at?!? And what's the internet speeds like?! I need to move stat.
ANNOUNCE: The new user guide is now live and available via https://help.counter.social and the 'help' option in the extended right hand menu. Further any link to the PDF will now redirect to the new documentation.
Big thanks to all who helped on the original PDF and huge thanks to @phase along with @CJLavoie, @Amyfb, @bluesbaby, @Janet, @Minholkin, @kel, @MrGoat, @realDDGlover, and others for volunteering their time, expertise, and wisdom for the creation of this new guide.

@wideeyedcurious oh they do, however basic public sentiment about Maine's public utility commission is that they're in CMPs pocket and they're not so much for the people ๐๐ they basically just rubber stamp everything
@wideeyedcurious oh and we can't forget corporate greed (CMP had heavy profits this year ๐๐)
Management will need lots of bonuses on the generation and distribution sides for having a tough year of "mis-managing"
@wideeyedcurious because CMP aka Avangrid aka IBERDROLA, S.A. and their foreign governmental ownership doesn't give a fuck about the ratepayers and CMPs shitty customer service + grid uptime are not useful performance metrics to them.
On the power generation supply New England generates a lot of it's power via Natural Gas ๐๐๐ so that's getting passed directly onto the ratepayers
Ooof Maine's public utilities crooks (commission) just unveiled how much the standard offer for power generation is for the year. 17.6 cents a kWh.
With CMPs rob-yah-blind fee of 8.8ish cents a kWh
I'm looking at 26.4 cents to get a kWh of power into my house....
I use around 30-40 kWh a day
$7.92 - $10.56 a day to keep the lights on (when CMPs line crews aren't scrambling around fixing managements mismanagement)
I don't know how much of my professional life is spent waiting for progress bars to complete, but it's a lot. #worktoot
