@FireMonkey 🤣🤣🤣 I might've remembered it if I was stoned 🤣🤣
Saw someone on here complaining about FedEx and lost packages FedEx hasn't lost any of my packages in a couple years. But it does pull this shit on me all the time, which is positively infuriatin.
"Yeah it'll be there Saturday" meanwhile that package is 1250ish miles or 19-21 hours away from the local dispatch hub which you can add in another hour of travel time to my house, + sorting time + ALL THE OTHER HOUSES ON THE way
So no I don't think I'm getting it today, unless it hopped a FedEx plane
@FireMonkey I took them off in the bathroom and stuffed them into an empty Mucinex box... No clue why I did that 🤣🤣🤣 besides attempting to get the box into the recycling container maybe 🤣🤣
Clearly it's working out well
I had my glasses on my face today, at done point in my travels around my house I took them off, set them down and continued on with my day.
I've now noticed I don't have my glasses on, and am now wandering around my house trying to remember where I took them off, while repeatedly checking the normal spots I leave them at. With. No. Such. Luck.
@Beanc would have to be vacuuming for me, the dog pulls the stuffing out of any toy possible and manages to get it throughout her half of the house. It's unfortunately in small enough pieces that the vacuum can easily pick it up, but not small enough that it falls down into the bottom chamber of the collection bin. It tends to stay up at the top of the collection bin where the hose attaches, so I have to stop 3-4 times to unclog it
@KazzyH I should call them and see what they say 🤣🤣🤣 "oh it must be your AC unit". You mean the device that is plugged into a kill-o-watt meter, with the correct kwh cost in it, that is reporting my AC is responsible for 32 dollars and some change to my bill for the month? That certainly doesn't explain the increase between June's bill of 207 (how apt) and this months pending usage... Considering that same AC unit was sitting in the window, with that same kilowatt meter attached.
Additionally this bill would be even higher if I actually was using the standard offer for electrical generation negotiated by the public utilities commission. Fortunately Maine has competitive offers (although most of them are worse then the standard offer). I lucked out and saved like a penny and a half on electrical generation.
All in I'm paying 0.192 per kwh generated and delivered to my house
Loving how my power bill is 300$ this month, Central Maine Power (aka rob me blind corp) is claiming I'm averaging 40kwh a day for this billing cycle. This time last year I was averaging 18kwh a day for the billing cycle.
Last year I worked from home, with a work laptop that used more power and had 2 ACs running.
This year I still work from home, have a newer laptop that uses less energy, and only have 1 AC running.
The math doesn't add up.
@CherNohio idk how your postal service is setup (city vs rural) but we always drop important mail like that back into the mailbox with a post it note on it saying person doesn't live here if it's commercial advertising mail normally its recycled in an approved manner (fire or recycling bin.) Normally the mail carrier ensures it gets to where ever it needs to go (including back to who ever sent it)
@Mandypar hopefully it does, I bought some plastic shelving unit to stuff (see also force it to fit) into the closet so some of my storage woes for technology related things is resolved at least
Something woke me up at 5:30am this morning, I tried to get back to bed, but then I gave up,I discovered upon looking out my bedroom window facing the road that the deer LOVEEE my yard in the morning if the 6 deer hanging around road were any clue.
I decided to follow the routine I used to have when I worked as a laborer and was rewarded with a pretty sun rise this morning something I haven't seen in about ~19ish months
