Ever have a book, moreover a single chapter in a book, that just freaking BREAKS you? I'm one of those people that re-reads favorites, and even knowing this is coming, it breaks me every single damned time. Chapter 27 of Shaman Rises by @ce_murphy

Today has kind of sucked a li'l bit. I think I might make it be over sooner rather than later.

Wherever you are in your daily cycle, I hope kindness finds you when you least expect it, and I hope that you are the kindness that lifts someone's day. 😴

So may the weary find rest, the dying find blessing, the suffering find surcease, the afflicted find pity, the joyous find a shield. All for love's sake.

Even as an atheist, this Compline prayer from growing up Episcopalian still speaks to me.

"Keep watch, dear Lord, with those who work, or watch, or weep this night, and give your angels charge over those who sleep. Tend the sick, Lord Christ; give rest to the weary, bless the dying, soothe the suffering, pity the afflicted, shield the joyous; and all for your love's sake. Amen."

May this week bring each of you more kindness than you deserve, more smiles than sadness, and more love than you thought possible. 😴 💤

Got my coffee, got my CoSo, even got a short walk in! Despite thunderstorms with hail this morning, today is shaping up to be pretty good.

The Community Firehose is actually a pretty chill way to wind down for the night. Kinda like the chamomile tea of social media.
