Baffled by the idea that many Americans consider actual knowledge of how our government works, a knowledge of history, and the ability to string multiple coherent thoughts together to NOT be ABSOLUTE REQUIREMENTS in candidates for elected office. I wouldn’t want someone operating on me with no medical experience. I wouldn’t hire a lawyer who didn’t know the law inside and out. Please explain to me why a lack of actual political knowledge is not only accepted but preferred for so many voters!

@CrowLdyJ My take is that there are people out there that believe Deconstruction of the Administrative State is a good thing - the rich and powerful types who have convinced a bunch of rubes that they will all benefit - when in fact, only the elite will and the rest will get screwed.
