I confess, ever since I first heard their song "Beehive", I've been in love with the band Meer.
Just dig their sound and their songwriting.
Here's a new release from them, "Chains of Changes"

Am in a strange mood today.
So am embracing it.
Dig it with me. Here is "Samba De Verão" by Walter Wanderley

Yesterday I received my new shirt from the printer. It's the one with the Kamala pronunciation guide on it.
Thought I'd try an experiment.
So earlier today, I wore it to Trader Joes, walked around, did some shopping and received several smiles, a couple of compliments, a thumbs-up and two people asked where they could get one.
Then I drove less than 300 yards to a Walmart and walked around. No compliments, zero thumbs, and multiple very angry looks.
🤣
Music for a tough week. I usually listen to this on low volume, as an ambient background, but today it's cranked it up enough to hear the low-end rumble.
Worth it. Am hearing little details not noticed before.

WTF is it with the right's obsession with — of all things — straws?
A while back they were ranting about how "manly men" should not be using straws at all (ooh, those pursed lips!) , then these same people (mostly the same men, BTW) rant about the left wanting to get rid of "our" plastic straws and how terrible paper would be.
There is a legit mental illness at play here. A mind virus.
And I just don't get it.
