It's day 5 of #altjazz. Since Tigran Hamasyan is one of my favorite geniuses, I'll pick him again today. Odd experience just now. Has not happened before to me. I received a Chrome browser notification (on my desktop) from Facebook. However, I was not logged-in to FB in any browser window or tab, and also had cleared all cookies from FB (I have a plugin that does this for all FB-related domains when I logout). So what mechanism is running in Chrome that allowed this to occur even though I was logged-off and no cookies for identity? Maybe local-storage? app cache? or ??
