Ummm...
For fans of Haken, Queen, System of a Down/Serj Tankian, Devin Townsend and (maybe?) Zappa. Wow.

What fresh sacrilege is this?
And yet, it definitely works.
Here's Wax Tailor with "How I Feel"
Today it's rain. All day.
So it's gonna be the rainy day playlist. And I'm loving it.
Everyone should start their day with a happy bop.

Sunday music. Here's Wim Mertens' "Loosening the Ropes"
It would be pretty hard to find another band that sounds this tight in a live setting. If they ever come to your area, and you dig this level of musicianship, get to it!

Side note: Why are so many YT videos out of sync (video <==> sound). Aggravating!

Gotta slow my groove this morning. Maybe catch my breath after the last few days.

Matters not if you call it prog, or math, or djent, or technical-whatever. There is a certain type of music lover whose brain will be tickled by this piece.
I'm one of them. Who knows, maybe you are, too?

"And When we fall we just dust it off you know we're ready to begin
Cuz Giving up is never good enough so we try and try again"
Let's hear it for the losers.
Code's eclectic ̶m̶u̶s̶i̶c̶ album pick of the day:
This is an album that just keeps getting better with more plays. The first time I heard it, I thought it was nice. Enjoyable even. But the more I listen to it, the more it gives back. Even the Renaissance-Faire-ish track 3, which I had initially decided was not my cup of mead.
Here's a sample track, but I recommend checking the entire album. Seriously. It's one of those rare gems.

A few years ago, I fell in love with a rock group from England that I'd never heard before. The album was called "The Seldom Seen Kid", and as I listened to it, over and over, I couldn't understand why Elbow was not FAR more famous here in the US. Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago when I watched the full video for "Flying Dream 1"
For me, it is a stunning musical accomplishment. Listen to all of it.

This band is just plain fun. Here is "High/Aflame" by Knifeworld.
Code's eclectic music pick of the day:
I can't determine who this song reminds me of most... ELO? Beatles/George Harrison? Maybe Roy Orbison? I guess it doesn't matter, because I'm still diggin' the vibes of "For Your Soul" by Josh Ritter.
