This is an album that just keeps getting better with more plays. The first time I heard it, I thought it was nice. Enjoyable even. But the more I listen to it, the more it gives back. Even the Renaissance-Faire-ish track 3, which I had initially decided was not my cup of mead.
Here's a sample track, but I recommend checking the entire album. Seriously. It's one of those rare gems.

A few years ago, I fell in love with a rock group from England that I'd never heard before. The album was called "The Seldom Seen Kid", and as I listened to it, over and over, I couldn't understand why Elbow was not FAR more famous here in the US. Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago when I watched the full video for "Flying Dream 1"
For me, it is a stunning musical accomplishment. Listen to all of it.

I can't determine who this song reminds me of most... ELO? Beatles/George Harrison? Maybe Roy Orbison? I guess it doesn't matter, because I'm still diggin' the vibes of "For Your Soul" by Josh Ritter.
