Still no new trees down. Am developing a love/hate relationship with rain.

1 more COVID death in Sonoma County, only 14 ICU beds, but new cases are now triple digits instead of 4. A mixed bag. SoCo is 79% fully vaxxed 6% partially vaxxed. Mask up, especially if you have to evacuate. 🌊

Greetings from NorCal. It's dark o'clock and 49F. It was raining a little while ago. Today's tea is called Jade Earrings (A superior hand-rolled white tea.) It's delicious.

No trees down on the driveway so that's good.

Greetings from NorCal. It's 51F and windy. It's too dark to tell if any more trees came down. I have a new tea today called Alchemy and looks like black coffee. It's delicious!

Greetings from dark and very rainy NorCal. It is 56F and I have delicious tea. Now to get writing. Have a safe day everyone!

Did a quick check and didn't see any more trees down, so that's good news.

Greetings from the still weather wild NorCal. Thunder and lightning last night and this morning. Currently 52F, dark, and raining. When it's light out I'll so see if any more trees came down. Have a great day everyone!

Good news, I think. My last trad pubbed book has disappeared from Amazon. I hope that means they've processed the reversion and will send it on shortly. Please please pretty please!

Crisis resolved. I now have delicious coffee!

Greetings from NorCal. It is 50F and dark. We are between storms at the moment. I have tea instead of coffee because I miscalculated the coffee I needed on hand during the boy's visit . . .

Safe safe out there!

Anyway, greetings from NorCal where it is currently NOT raining. It's 47F and dark. I have delicious tea.

SW is making me resubmit my request for reimbursement of my son's cancelled flight and the return flight on another airline.
GRRR. But I expected this poor response and had everything saved for easy reference. But honestly.

I was 75% done with a cool wooden jigsaw puzzle when devil cat jumped on it and by the end, she'd chewed up 3 pieces. Alas.

3.94 inches of rain at the house in the last 24 hours. Yeah. It's wet out.

A second tree along the driveway fell into the neighbor’s field. I think there might be one more at risk. If so, I hope it falls in the field too.

All things considered the storm aftermath is ok at the house. Only one tree down though there were many branches none of which took down fences. Walking in the fields is treacherous because water is flowing underground via gopher holes so the ground can look fine but you end up stepping into a hole.

@attilatheblond I'm glad we had the driveway trees trimmed and/or taken out over the summer. We also trimmed the trees close to the house, so that was a good thing, too!
