Ah crap, I’m 66 not 77. Fat fingered it.
Did a road trip with my best friend to southern Illinois to see the full eclipse. It was SO cool! I’m 77, I won’t get another chance at this so I’m glad I did it.
Then when we got back to her house I couldn’t find my keys. I looked in all my pockets, emptied my backpack, we looked and relooked through her car and her house. Texted my brother saying I might need a ride home and his key to my house. Took a final look in her garage and they were right outside the door. I’m home, I’m exhausted.
The only thing worse than having a man your age or older call you “hon” or “sweetie” is having a man young enough to be your grandson call you that.
Just a PSA, if you wear patchouli please don’t wear too much. A little goes a long way and some of us are sensitive to smells.
It’s foggy river bottom this morning with rain forecast for when I get off work. Springtime in the Midwest.

It’s 20 degrees outside right now here in Central Illinois, supposed to be 40 today. Still warm for February.
Saw an article titled, “Trump Promises to Protect Christianity”. First, from what? I consider myself a Christian and I don’t feel my religion needs protecting. If anything there are people needing protection from my religion. Second, don’t you have to be a Christian to want to protect Christianity? He definitely is NOT.

DOJ abba is claiming he’s immune to the law because he was president when he committed the crimes he’s being charged with.
If a President can break the law in order to retain power, we really have no rule of law, we have rule of those without money and power while power and money do whatever the hell they want.

Goodnight all. My parents died young: they had no memories of their grandchildren. I am blessed to have 4 young grandchildren. I love them & they love me. I turned 75 this week. I want to be remembered as someone who was kind. The Big Lie is a lie. The Lord bless you & keep you!
Finally got rid of the subzero temps, today and tomorrow we have freezing rain. Already 1/8 of an inch of ice out there.
