Looking for any suggestions/experience with this situation. My wife keeps wishing we had friends but whenever I suggest things (trivia, etc) she says she doesn't want to sit with strangers.

Well, couldn't create a new account on Twit so just deactivated my account and took the app off my phone.

Some of the more interesting accounts I follow on Twitter are moving to Bluesky so I've gone ahead and installed the app but haven't set up an account yet.

I hope that Europe cuts us off. I understand that there are international obligations and alliances but I hope they refuse to treat as an equal partner. No state visits here, no big hoopla when we send a delegation there. We had the chance to continue progressing but we went backwards.

I've been home the last two days which turned out to be a good thing. Wednesday I was so angry & depressed, have stayed away from any deep dives into social media, radio and TV. Spent the day listening to Blanco White & only ventured off to grocery. Yesterday I was just sad but actually scrolled some Facebook posts & on here. Still stayed away from news & more Blanco White music. I did sit & try to write out my internal rants. Today will be my first test interacting with idiots.

I'm reading nothing, staying away from all media today, this week, maybe for months. Just immediately clicking post or notifications on any site, can't beat to read any news, rants or heartbreaks right now. The depression is real.
