Unpleasant tasks this morning; making a list of cc debt then looking at withdrawing from 401k.

Sunday we were hanging out in the downtown area & observing a rotating group of 30-somethings that has taken over a table and chairs in the sidewalk. A core group of three stayed while passerbys they knew would stop, order drinks and sit for a bit, talking animatedly. The casual effortlessness of friends and acquaintances gathering, going on about their day or just enjoying a lazy sunny day made me jealous.

I am old yet still, my younger self whispers in my ear of the most ridiculous things.

Today, I am reminded that Pablo Picasso was never called an asshole.

Love coming into work and finding out that Corp (or local fascist loss prevention leader) has decided to impose more bs on employees while customers just fill bags and wave to the camera as they prance out the door.

Reminiscent of CSN or Styx in their vocal harmonies.
