@TheAbbotTrithemius That's interesting because Star Trek's official website claims today is the anniversary, so I guess Canada doesn't count? 😂

Happy Star Trek Day! Star Trek first aired on September 8th, 1966.

STAR TREK was first broadcast on this date in 1966. Over the decades, Star Trek has grown and changed. And there have been times when no new Star Trek graced our TVs or movie screens. But through it all, Star Trek has always been in the hearts, minds, and souls of fans. Happy ! (9/8/1966 to 9/8/2024)

Happy 'Sandwich that tastes like Sandwich with Chicken' Day to those that observe it.

Hey, I'm just kidding. I know most people don't ever read any books at all.

@Sr0bi What a nightmare! I hope things get better from there.

Every damn year the flight back to Newark from Atlanta is a mess. Usually this is due to weather along the coast, so I thought (ha) I was safe this year. Now, of course, there are radar problems in Newark. An hour and a half delay so far. Let's see if they can beat the previous record of 4 hours and 10 minutes.

"Is that a Herkimer Battle Jitney?" Is not a thing I ever expected to say IRL, but here we are. (and me without my Shoveler cosplay)

Hey, let's face it. The French are just lazy. Hell, they were supposed to take down the tower in 1909 and just said 'eh, fuck it'.
