Alas, I must now head out for training and grading, in the (nearly) cold when I'd rather be here. BBIAB!
Just got back from local Uni H-ween concert. The Dean of Impeachment was there, looking very, very grim (and 7' tall). Some well done costumes in the orch. Comic relief when the guy dressed as the blue bird thing in "Up" lost his head while conducting Sousa.
No escaping the "own asshole" references on the birdsite today. 😂
The good news: Bass part from "Standing in the Shadow of Love" is no longer stuck in my head. The bad news: Now it's "Boogie Oogie Oogie."
It seems this dumpster fire economy will claim my workplace, and my plant will close by 2024. I have options, I am not in a panic, but of course I'm not happy to have all the excitement come down in one day.
I am feeling blessed that my spouse doesn't kvetch about me playing the bass at all hours. As a beginner. 😍

"Where may mousie, you stole it from meh! I know it was here! It was screaming like a banshee! Give it back!" I'm getting the stink eye from my cat for appropriating her new toy and throwing it outside where it might get eaten by a hawk which should be much faster and less terrifying. #CatsOfCoSo
