Apparently, cause I still had the old website open on my phone, it still worked normally.
But opening a new tab to the site redirects to the NYTs and I was able to Ace it. Lol

I self-identify as a gadget geek. We moved into a house in December and I hadn't set up all my networking stuff. I like to play with smart home stuff and IOT. So I have a segregated network that I hadn't set up yet.

It's kind of weird how much something as simple as color changing lights in the living room make it feel more like home.

Never heard back specifically about my proposal. But got told to report to a new lead ( technically my old lead when I was on a different team) and that I would still be doing essentially the same stuff just working with her. Had a meeting with her and she alluded to there's some other changes in the pipeline.
