The Trump campaign now says the comment by comedian Tony Hinchcliffe about Puerto Rico being a “floating island of garbage” doesn’t reflect Trump’s views.
“This joke does not reflect the views of President Trump or the campaign,” Trump senior adviser Danielle Alvarez says.
The problem is that all speeches are approved in advance, so once again, this is utter bullshit.

This is weaker than weak. They don't even say, "Wow, that actually sucked, we're TOTALLY sorry, and he's fucking FIRED", just "Well, WE don't believe that!"
