@QueenOfEverything He just got a letter from the DOJ for the $1 million pay off lottery. That is obviously driving people to become registered voters, so that should be an easy lay up for the DOJ.
AND musk has quite a few illegal things piling up in his political/professional life- and has even said if trump doesn't get elected, he (musk) will be in jail.

The problem I have is that DOJ has sent him a letter "warning" him that giving away $1m Voter Giveaways "Might Be Illegal."
That has no threat to Elon Musk.
Violations of the law are punishable by a fine of up to $10,000 and/or up to five years in prison.
The man has BILLIONS- doesn't give a shit about "fines"... and it means a court case to get prison time- which musk could tie up in court forever.
