My truth,

Truth about old age, we’re all on the spectrum moving along. It’s shocking how fast it happens. You may try to separate yourself from being ‘old’ elderly, a curmudgeon ... but truth is, it is where you are heading (unless you die young) Watch what you say & know pride, intelligence, wisdom & dignity exists among older people.Never mock; elders are aware & hurt. Don’t wear your youth as a shield; it is disintegrating daily. Your shield is compassion, fortitude, service, logic & love.

Well that wasn’t that bad and staff were so kind.

Heading for a testing site this morning For me and my guy. Two masks and a shield for me. I pray this is overkill. As far as I am aware I have no symptoms. I am not reassured by anything.

Yep, I didn’t sign up for this when I became a teacher...I would put myself between my student/s and a bullet but I never would agree to bring a bullet home to my family.

sorry my courage was not ever what it should be. Though I have loved and love, I still admit my fear especially when I imagine putting my beloveds at risk. Can we please just watch out for one another.

@Minholkin Unless I get sick, I can continue teaching from home. I’ve been organizing & converting the guest room I inhabit for now into my new/office/classroom. A long postponed activity. My pups keep waiting outside my door I can’t explain to them why Momma isn’t petting them etc. I was working on new lessons for my students. ...

@corlin Thank you but I am still teaching from my room and that is enough math for me. Though if I could re-learn the quadratic equation truly my mind would be occupied (and perhaps fried)

So any fun ideas for those quarantined for 14 days in a bedroom in your house. I’ve been tidying up-reading-and worrying.

Quarantined...everything I was fighting against. Happened to me in my own classroom by another teacher. Channeling my inner-OCD and organizing my spare bed room as I pray I don’t have it & didn’t expose my family.
