Today's event was lovely, with not only the pastor and immediate family members but also friends and even acquaintances saying wonderful things about Dad and making us chuckle--just as he often did. It was perfect. Thank you all who wished us well.

Okay, I'm a bit slow with vague jokes. Could someone please explain, "My other car is an honor student" to me? I get it's a parody of the honor student and "my other car is--" bumper stickers, but how do the two go together? Or is that kind of the point? Current status of Dad’s machine: SNAFU because the people at MG pushed me to back up the drive and format it, but now it’s telling me it can’t install on the drive because it’s partitioned even after I deleted the partitions other than the one I was working with. Today I’m going to try working on it with Ubuntu, but I’m worried that’s going to compound issues rather than solve them.
