Pollen count is high today, and one of the appointments I rescheduled was my first allergy shot. DOH!

@Bysodas I'm both because I'm an insomniac and I have some kind of circadian rhythm disorder, as most people with neurological disorders do. (I'm lucky enough to have neurological, neuropsychological, and mental health disorders, all of which affect my sleep! I have epilepsy, Asperger syndrome, severe depression, anxiety, and non-military PTSD.)

It was 56F when I started this morning. It's already gotten to 62F. Yikes.

@LiseL I never fit in! ;)
I pronounce it "too-RON-toe."

@brian64 Please take care with the generalizations. I know a group of Christians right in my ultra-conservative county who are working very hard to follow in the footsteps of Jesus and love all they meet as they love themselves (or better) and give as much as they can to those in need, no matter who those might be. We even feel Atheism is a belief system and should therefore be respected as such.

@Minholkin @phase I didn't see anything about slowing--just hiding them altogether. I can look at animations of, say, animals running or someone talking; but I can't do the strobing-effect ones. Thanks for trying to help!

Today's breakfast:
Strawberry Oikos Triple Zero blended Greek yogurt
Dr. Zevia zero-calorie soda

Folks, Koko (@MommaJ) is fully engaged with her daughter’s hospitalization right now, so if you lovely people bid on her gorgeous handmade entropy dominos (see my pinned post), please bid via that post or if you want to bid anonymously, please DM me so we’re not bothering her right now. Thanks!

@LiseL Oh, please take that stuff off him; that's cruel!

@stueytheround I like it because it's still not perfect sight, which is true to life.

@theeCheese I actually like this gown. I rarely like something on today's catwalks.

Please remember: no matter how bad things get in your life/surroundings, there's no excuse to emotionally/physically/psychologically/verbally attack another person.

1. Lift fingers from keyboard.
2. Push chair away from desk.
3. Go find a calming activity for 20 mins or until you no longer feel angry, whichever comes last.
4. Return to computer; see if you can resume at a more reasonable level of discussion.
5. Repeat steps 1-4 as necessary.

I've been there. It's a bad place.
