Okay, I've shared all the music I can recall/find that gives me warm fuzzies from attending/participating in HWS concerts. Hope you enjoyed some of the content. 😘

Catch the planets tonight and the next seven days. They'll appear clustered and be in this precise order every night. (Copied from @daniel with permission)

My mommy brought me a Choco Brownie Xtreme Blizzard from DQ (small)! Yum-O!

"October" - Eric Whitacre - U.S. Navy Concert Band (This is a beautiful piece.)

Novena (Rhapsody for Band) - James Swearingen - West Winds
(Start at 2:24 if you can't hear the conductor's speech any better than I can.)

There are TWO flies flying around me in this kitchen. TWO. Methinks Mom's house hath a leak in a winder.

"Children's March (Over the Hills and Far Away)" - Percy Grainger - U.S. Marine Band Tour 2018

Hope you enjoyed what I shared with you from their performances. I'm going to share some more of my favorite pieces that I can't find their posts of anymore. The music is still definitely worth a listen.

If you listen to none of the others, listen to this one. It's a very cheerful and jaunty march by Williams that just puts a bounce in your seat.

"Midway March" - John Williams - HWS Summer 2011

Who here is in their 50s and still lived in a rural enough area that they had to go to a family friend's place of business to use the touch-tone phone to register for each semester's college courses?

@StacyKell When he did it when his oldest (as a toddler at the time) and I were passengers, I said, "Okay, no. You want to put your own life at risk? That's fine. But, when you've got a baby in the back seat and a passenger in the front seat? You do not drive like a maniac." I told my dad about it when we got there, and dad said it was none of my business. I said, "He was risking MY nephew's and MY lives, so, yes, it was very much my business!" Dad didn't argue.

"Suite from THE DARK KNIGHT" - HWS Summer 2011 (that's me with the pale as moonlight bare legs in the flute section)

I should mention Bob (Dr. Livingston) invites some of his best high school students to join the symphony in the summer months. Not all of the flubs are theirs, though. Back when I was in the flute section, most of the flubs from our section were mine! It was like I'd forgotten everything I'd learned in high school! (More like I'd had a couple of seizures back to back in college that added up to 4 minutes cumulative, after which I lost some long-term memories I'm only starting to regain.)

@FernLovebond @th3j35t3r Apparently, it was the quotation marks or the slashes around Oliver!
