The key in mahjong is knowing how to plan your hands as well as being able to pivot when necessary, towards different hands based on pulls and discards.

I'm a very defensive style player so my winning hands are usually pretty small. My tribemate and I called them hands (IYKYK) ๐Ÿคฃ I don't win a lot of points, but I survive the rounds.

Watching how your friends and family treat other people behind their backs is a clear indicator of who they truly are as people.

If they talk about others, you can imagine how they talk about you to others ...

We talk about emotional intelligence. We use lots of words.

But it feels like people are mostly taught unhealthy coping mechanisms, like denial and suppression, or that some emotions are "bad" and not to have them.

Emotional control is used to control behavior, not deal with the source of the emotions.

That's not healthy.
