Seeing as how tomorrow is #VeteransDay(or, as it's called in Canada, #RememberanceDay), this short clip from Canadian comedian/satirist Rick Mercer is timely, even though it first aired in 2010.
For the WWE fans out there, they've got good news! They have announced their winter touring schedule...including a Saturday show about 90 miles away from my homebase in Buffalo. Here's the info...#WWERaw #SmackDown
Alright #prowrestling fans what are the hashtags we need to use to have fun? Some thoughts I had (and blatantly copied from twitter):
#AEW - All Elite Wrestling
#AEWDynamite - comments during Dynamite
#AEWRampage - Comments during Rampage
#AEWFullGear - Comments during the upcoming PPV.
I'm not a huge WWE fan but could do similar things like
#WWERaw
#WWESmackdown
#WWENXT
Thoughts? Just want to know how to communicate with everyone.
And here's today's edition...
I'm not sure if any of you #COSONauts are readers of the political newsletter Popular Information, but due to the recent mess on Twitter it's lost quite a few followers. Want to subscribe to the newsletter(for free, but you CAN pay for it as well)? Here's how....
SO...onward. Today, we find out that CUPE is going to hold a press conference tomorrow(Monday)outlining their next steps. AND per Rankandfile.ca, the Ontario Federation of Labour and CUPE are planning a mass protest at Queen's Park in Toronto this Saturday(11/12)followed by a general strike next Monday(11/14). Methinks Doug Ford REALLY stepped in it this time around. 4/4
Here's a nice background piece on this(never mind that the publication is located in the province of British Columbia)....

The Ontario government, headed up by Conservative Premier Doug Ford, passed right to work legislation by invoking Section 33 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms(AKA the notwithstanding clause)-making the strike illegal. CUPE's response? "Screw you, it's happening anyway!" Within the next week or so, it's REALLY going to hit the fan. 2/
I don't know how many of you follow Canadian news and/or politics, but up in Ontario there's some MAJOR stuff going on. And it's going to take me a bit to unpack the news about it, even with the extra limits we have, so bear with me. Ontario's school support staff(custodians, early childhood educators, etc.)numbering about 55,000 have been without a contract. SO....what to do? Well, I'll tell you..... 1/
For you baseball fans:

The man who would own Twitter has a small problem....actually, a BIG problem.... http://popular.info/p/elon-musks-china-problem #Coso
(WARNING: Yes, he swears. If that gives you the vapors, don't watch it.) I'd like to tell the Elon Musk fanboys out there that no matter how much you gush over his utterances on social media... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5nwib780C3E
I talk about a LOT of stuff: politics, sports, stuff here in Buffalo, etc. "I have a zero tolerance policy for ****ty people." -Jon Moxley, AEW Dynamite 1/6/21
