It has been this way for a long time, but it is the most annoying to me now. It’s unfortunate that so much of news is filtered through an entertainment apparatus. Entertainment has the ability to help you suspend disbelief. Normally this would be fun in a fantasy situation like a good movie. In news however, the added drama and flash sends mixed messages to us consciously and subconsciously.
