We are in Ruidoso. Our house was fortunate to be on the east side of Ruidoso and on high ground so we were spared by the fires and flash flooding. It’s hard to describe in words or grasp the scale of devastation in photos. This is a small slice of the aftermath of the fire that swept through the west side of town. There is still beauty and hope to cling to. The hummingbirds are here and the wild horse herd popped by for a visit this morning. #ruidosostrong
