The President has maligned Justice, Congress (both houses), the Intelligence Community (FBI, CIA, NSA). He has no regard for objective truth. We're in the weeds now in legal issues. What happened to American values; inclusiveness & equality? What happened reasoned, rational thought & discussion? I'm lost. I don't know my Country when I'm afraid to speak in "mixed" company. Meaning pro & anti Trump. Yeah, that's a real thing.😣😭

The royal wedding has kicked Trump mostly off of the news today. I am sure he hates that. I don't really care about the wedding but I appreciate the break.
I usually hangout here on Saturdays, but today I am off to see Willie Mays Plaza to enjoy a good old fashioned baseball game with daughter and sister. It is SF, so will have to put on my woolies! Oh, and we are being feted by Rombauer Winery for a special event. Going to be great. See you all later! Enjoy the wedding or a good book or just being your wonderful selves.

@bettr Keep the faith. Your light makes a difference! Much that I have loved and valued has been/will be lost--but much worth fighting for remains.
What I have come to believe: there is no way out of this mess we are in. We are stuck with it. Disinformation rules. I have family members that I know do not understand 1/10th of what is really happening. Moreover they do not care. They have no worries as it is all the same no matter who wins elections. No one can get through the blinders. No one.
I am trying to be hopeful. I am making every effort to be awake and aware. Spreading as much as light as I can. For Winter is coming.

Reading Diana Henriques' latest book A First Class Catastrophe and came across this description of Reagan's cabinet picks. Clearly we have survived this stuff in the past. It somehow gave me hope. Of course, the financial crisis described in this book is earth shaking but we survived. We may not be so lucky this time around. This book is spell binding.
I am amazed that we have over 16K users and only 280 patreons. Maybe there are lots of folks working with bitcoin. If so that would make me feel better. The amount of work that goes into providing a platform like #CoSo can be a labor of love, but J and fellows still have rent to pay and food to buy.
