@th3j35t3r Conversely, it's entirely possible to be a bleeding heart liberal (like me) who is a pacifist abhorred by violence and still respect others' rights to bear arms. I don't believe in banning guns. I believe in stricter regulations, owner's insurance, liability if owned gun used in commission of a crime, mandated yearly proficiency tests, and routine safety classes.. think of it as continuing education.

Let's be honest. Howling about #GunControl on the internet isn't going to change anything.

But voting for candidates who haven't taken a dime from the #NRA might.

Just because you manage to get elected to a political office doesn’t automatically elevate you to personally being worthy of respect. You can respect the office and disrespect the office holder. Imo that’s acceptable.

I'm frustrated with my friends saying Democrats "caved" on the shutdown b/c they didn't get a deal on DACA. Well, DACA is a law through March. CHIP was out of funding, children were being refused medical care. DACA had more time than CHIP on the clock & there was NO way McConnell would approve both.
