@mayday @kel @serrenity @TheAbbotTrithemius Dems have been reaching to Republican talking points for as long as I can remember anyway. And defensive, always fighting the issues chosen by the GOP, never fighting to set the agenda for discussion.
IMO none of this gets better until Dems start showing people that it's not embarrassing or irresponsible to believe what they do... And start taking about the things that really matters to them instead of responding to insults.

I am puzzled. Reading many on Bird site that 2018 taxes on middle & low income folks will see fewer tax dollars and will give rousing surge to GOP as a consequence. What bill are they reading?

Just my 2 cents.
Today is not a day of celebration IMO. It is a day that should make us somber.
The USA is / has been ripped apart and divided. The constitution and its people have been tested.
We are getting closer to the truth - There is a lot of cancer at the highest levels.
This is not Republican or Democrat - It is good vs evil.
I hope the purge will come - but I won't be cheering.

And, another revelation of sexual misconduct this morning from NBC: Matt Lauer. I have no details. Just the announcement his female coworkers had to make. NBC seemed convinced enough to fire him without warning.
