Three observations re: #Zelenskyy #Biden press conference:

1: Translating from Ukrainian to English must be hard af. Every translator struggled to render Zelynskyy's remarks fluently and cogently.

2: How addicted we US folks are to soundbite-politics! Zelynskyy delivered complex ideas (if haltingly translated) yet I sense they'll fall on deaf US media ears because they aren't soundbite-compatible.

3: Decency and humor truly are universal. Nothing Zelynskyy said landed better than his jokes.

Ali Velshi pointed out that a lot of people doubted Zelenskyy "could stand up to Putin".

I've never been a foreign policy expert, ever.

But to the extent anyone thought that for whatever reasons they had.

Zelenskyy has absolutely proven everyone wrong.

And this world is moving, hopefully, to a better place because of his leadership.
