@Alfred How would you go about making an a priori constructed language?
My wife's father passed away today. Much sadness and shedding of tears.
I've seen a similar scenario on FB where a Christian had posted a photo of their tattoo depicting Leviticus 20:13. A reply from a user referred the OP to Leviticus 19:28.
I am a self-taught drummer with 20 years of experience. I did get lessons by the drummer of Cardia Arrest from Chicago. I was a member of five bands in three countries ranging from hard rock to deathcore. It was a wild ride. Not sure if I'll ever get back into since I gots kids and sold my acoustic kit, but perhaps getting an electronic kit will be a good compromise. Music has always been my lifeline in stressful times, and drumming was simply cathartic. #CoSoMusic
I didn't read πΎππ‘π π π’ππππ, but I did read π΄ πβππ’π πππ ππππππππ ππ’ππ . I was dating an Afghan girl at the time; it was emotionally powerful.
I was DJ for the kids this morning. This was the set:
One Night in Bangkok- Murray Head
Sunglasses at Night - Corey Hart
Somebody's Watching Me - Rockwell
Tech Noir - Gunship
Nightmare - Polyphia
Smiles on Faces - Stick Figure feat. KBong
Underwater Love - Jerome Isma-Ae
That is New England weather in a nutshell.
I truly enjoy metal bands that have a theme. Amon Amarth and Nile fall into this category. Another is Arsames, a truly underground death metal band from Mashhad, Iran. As the band name suggests, the theme is Ancient Persia. Here is "Xerxes" from the album Immortal Identity:
Yes indeedy! Between my wife and I, we have a nice eclectic selection of music to share with them. I've introduced them to Amon Amarth and she introduced them to Kruder & Dorfmeister.
What my friend told me long ago:
"If it doesn't work, hit it with a hammer. If it still doesn't work, hit it with a bigger hammer."

I listened to all of those songs, and also Nightmare. Again, blown away. I haven't discovered this much new music in the last five years.
Sweet deal! Thank you.
Oh. Em. Gee...
It's been a long time since I got goosebumps from music. This is fantastic. Thank you for sharing!
