Late last night, J added more capability to CoSo to keep things running quickly and smoothly
I don't know the numbers but I'm guessing that means BIG added cost 👀
There are many ways to support CoSo--Going PRO opens up more features and is a distributed cost over time.
Or you can give a chunk one time through donorbox.
Any way you can, in whatever amount you can, please support this refuge that prioritizes YOU.
There's no place better!

Yoon Kim - @nicoscosc: “Death is only a launching into the region of the strange Untried; it is but the first salutation to the possibilities of the immense Remote, the Wild, the Watery, the Unshored . . .”

@LKNWoman thinking further on your post - as someone educated and trained in chemistry the experience of knowledge and mystery is a common one.
The basic problem, and hear me out, is people no longer know how to have a relationship with either mystery or uncertainty. Nor are they able to truly define what mystery is — if it’s beyond their own individual ken, they’re perfectly happy to declare it “unknowable” or “mysterious,” even though the measuring stick is what humankind knows. People don’t know what they don’t know and are far too comfortable in their ignorance. Embracing mystery and embracing knowledge are not mutually exclusive.

The Western model of argument has always been adversarial, the idea being that truth is arrived at through the "cut and thrust" (note the violence of the metaphor) of debate.
It's not clear that this works, and debate often seems to muddy the waters and arrive at anything but truth.
What if argument were, rather, a cooperative enterprise whose goal was mutual clarity and understanding? What if we considered a necessary part of it stating where you agree, not just where you disagree?
Sometimes you need more than a micro-econ perspective to understand what is happening.

Mohamad Safa - @Mhdksafa: What we learned from COVID? That oil is worthless in a society without consumption. That healthcare has to be public because health is public. That 50% of jobs can be done from home while the other 50% deserve more than they're being paid. That we live in a society not an economy.

This is an unhappy read for this morning: United Nations - @UN: More bad climate news:
Atmospheric levels of the three main greenhouse gases - carbon dioxide, methane & nitrous oxide - all reached new record highs in 2021.
That means our planet will continue to warm, warns @WMO. https://public.wmo.int/en/media/press-release/more-bad-news-planet-greenhouse-gas-levels-hit-new-highs
