@JohnnyGenX Yep. Odd that the folks who 'want smaller government and government out of our lives' want to give power of controlling internet use to the pols who are ALL about controlling and using parental concerns as cover.

Been trying, for DECADES, to get folks to share the fact that the word "parent" is not just a noun. It is also a verb and more people with offspring need to grasp that concept and start parenting!

@LnzyHou Used to live in Montana, so got to see them sometimes. So weird and beautiful. One night, instead of the usual green or turquoise, the lights were deep blood red. It depends on what kinds of ions are in the incoming bursts from the sun, I guess.

@LnzyHou Yep. He knows how lucky he is to have a job that brings him the opportunity to see such rare sights. He took the time to be able to assure everyone on his plane had the experience at least once.

Walker staffer accused CPAC boss of sexual harassment.

From linked article:

"Shortly after Walker lost the election, the staffer lashed out at Schlapp on social media, accusing him of drunken misbehavior. A few days later, CPAC demanded nondisclosure agreements with a $25,000 penalty from all its employees, according to a copy of the document obtained by The Post and people familiar with the matter.

@Stephjovi This clown was the Superintendent and an official campus 'guardian', having theoretically gone thru some gun safety training.

Yeah, just what passes for such training in Texas is anybody's guess, but when untrained 3rd graders are more conscientious, well, you're right, dumb idea!

"A Texas school board is slated on Thursday to accept the resignation of its superintendent after a third-grader found his gun in a bathroom stall in January.

"Although no one was hurt in the incident last month at Rising Star Elementary School, Stuteville submitted his resignation Monday after parents raised concerns at a board meeting last week, ..."

If people in the US didn't want it, cartels & drug runners wouldn't be bringing it into the country. This is on us, on the culture we have allowed to evolve.

Drug runners & people smugglers are very dangerous to people driving in my area. It is surveillance, not walls, that catches them.

Fix the social ills that make drug use too common. It's the only way to stop this crap.

Man crazy almost like the church isn’t an institution that seeks to help the needy like Jesus said to do.

Almost like the whole goal of the church now is to make money and influence politics.

Don't bother with the calendar. It's Springtime in Arizona when the ring tailed ground squirrel comes out of her burrow and sees her shadow...blow away to New Mexico or Colorado.

Was anyone really surprised that spineless Kevin McCarthy would turn over the J6 surveillance videos to the #1 Russian propagandist in the USA, Sucker Carlson and Murdoch’s empire of lies, hate and white supremacy for profit organs? Elect traitors and you better expect treachery. Vulture capitalism is very corrosive to democracy.

Instead of starting a fire, you'll have created the grounds for better behavior in the future, and you won't have pointlessly ruined a relationship.

Most people are not awful and we don't need to treat them as if they are unless they prove otherwise. Social interactions only work if we give people room to make occasional mistakes, and admit that we're not always going to be 100% right about identifying those mistakes.

Ever wonder why those who have the most weapon training have regulations in place to ensure proper gun safety?

Naw, me neither...
