If/when Trump manages to get these 14th Amendment Section 3 cases to keep him off the ballot heard by SCOTUS, they gain nothing by ruling in his favor.
They've already got the stacked court they wanted from him.
Most conservatives feel like they're stuck with Trump even though they don't want him.
This is their out.
If SCOTUS rules in his favor it sets the precedent for a Democrat to refuse to step down w/no consequences, and they won't let that happen.

I guess it depends on how much chaos the super wealthy want to see. Ultimately, it's all about their profit margins.
If they think they stand to gain more from not having Trump on the ballot, he won't be.

We already know that the conservative SCOTUS "justices" are compromised.
I'm *very* interested in seeing how they rule on this case when it comes to their bench because that will tell me things about what their corporate masters' vision for the next few years looks like.
Do they think chaos and "new civil war" will be more profitable, or getting rid of Trump and starting over with someone else?

This is one reason I think SCOTUS is likely to rule against Trump.
It really is all about profit, and destabilizing the country to that extent (ie: the fascism MAGAts want) isn't profitable.
Edit: Especially with the markets performing so well now. They're doing better than the Trump years, and they know it.
