I've been thinking.
If/when Trump manages to get these 14th Amendment Section 3 cases to keep him off the ballot heard by SCOTUS, they gain nothing by ruling in his favor.
They've already got the stacked court they wanted from him.
Most conservatives feel like they're stuck with Trump even though they don't want him.
This is their out.
If SCOTUS rules in his favor it sets the precedent for a Democrat to refuse to step down w/no consequences, and they won't let that happen.
@Tarnagh This is certainly logical- but if there's one thing the GOF isn't, it's that.
They would probably assume that their fear-addled army of ammosexual drones would take care of it. Because that worked so well on 1/6 😂
I guess it depends on how much chaos the super wealthy want to see. Ultimately, it's all about their profit margins.
If they think they stand to gain more from not having Trump on the ballot, he won't be.
@aspecurian @_Hunter
This is one reason I think SCOTUS is likely to rule against Trump.
It really is all about profit, and destabilizing the country to that extent (ie: the fascism MAGAts want) isn't profitable.
Edit: Especially with the markets performing so well now. They're doing better than the Trump years, and they know it.
