I appreciate many of your sayings, and your sentiments. Truly.
However, you go way, way too far in comparing Israel’s self-defense with Hamas’s savage butchery. Let’s make one point clear here: the only terrorists here are Hamas.
War is, and always has been since the beginning of time, literally insane and horrific. Rules of engagement are tough. I hate war, having been through four of them.
But let’s just remember, that Israel did not start this. Period.

Israeli soldiers do not burn babies alive. Hamas does. Israeli soldiers do not shoot children in cold blood, nor do they knowingly toss grenades in places where children are hiding. Hamas does.
IDF troops do not brag to their parents about killing Palestinians with their bare hands. Hamas does.
This is moral degradation and barbarism, barely to be humanly comprehended.
Only the morally blind refuse to see this.
You should also know that the Nazis had their apologists and “whatabout-ists” prior to, and during the whole of, the Second World War. That did not absolve them of their crimes at Nuremberg.

I am well aware of your point. And my point stands.
Israel’s attempt to defend itself against terror armies surrounding it does not compare to the premeditated and cold blooded murder practiced by Hamas. Period.
The sole mission of Hamas is the ethnic cleansing, not only of Israelis, but of all Jews, from the face of the Earth. I have never heard the IDF say that they want to completely rid/cleanse the world of Palestinians.
The two situations are not comparable.
