Time for some more OC drawing practice. This is a character created by @PoofyPuma.from lamegangsters.com. Her name is llyia. She's a Hallow One necromancer. A Hallow One is a unique undead variety that maintain their sentience and personality, they're just missing a soul. She appears as an undead human and became a necromancer while trying to figure out how she wound up as Hallow One.

Aloha. I'm looking for original characters to draw. Would you be interested in letting me take a shot at one of yours?

I just need a brief description, preferably with some of the personality and characteristics along with the physical description. If you have visual references that'd be cool too.

I do these as an exercise to strengthen character design skills, working from specs, and to give some love to characters that may not be known well enough to get their own fan art.

I've been enjoying "Ahsoka" and the character of Baylan Skoll. Know that Ray Stevenson died shortly before series was released is sad. And I remember Ray as the Punisher in War Zone. Decided to put this two portrayals together in his honor.

Not sure what to do with it though. Anyone know how I could sent it the Ray's family maybe?

Will try to do an art stream this weekend and I reckon it's about time to do other people's OCs again. If you've got an original characters you'd like to see draw, reply with a description including physical details, attire, background and personality. If you have a visual reference sheet, great, provide that too.

I do these for a couple reasons, it' helps develop my character design skills, it not mainstream, and it's nice to give someone their character drawn by someone else.

sometimes things about my drawing will gnaw at me. In this one made the saber blade way too tapered. I managed to scale it back a bit.

I'll be with a group of local artists again today to help raise funds for Maui relief efforts. Short event, but if you're free, swing by Sunny Yoga Hawaii (820 W Hind Dr, Ste 125 Honolulu) between 1 and 3 pm and pick up some art to support the cause.

Ahsoka and Grogu...this took way longer than I'd planned. All tolled, it was about 4 hours of work.

Preliminary sketch done off line. 2-hour stream with Comic Jam Hawaii, and a final 90 minute stream on my own.
