Had trouble getting to sleep so I drew this to distract my mind. I've always loved Misty's look. Everyone drew her with attitude. I do think I made the gun and the hand holding it just little too big.

Some times you just do the gags for yourself. I did a sketch of this back when the movie came out. When I pulled the Thanos blank sketch variant out of the box, this automatically came to mind. Anywhoooo...one less blank to worry about.
Still working my way through the 100s of blank sketch variants I have. Pulled this randomly and adorned it with a gag that my friend Drew and I sketched a few years ago with Galactus and Surfer on vacation in Hawaii.

Slowly working my way through some of the hundreds of blank comic book sketch variants I have. I decided to draw Nebula on this Galaxy of the Guardians blank. She's the VIP of the group in IMO. Wanted to give a bit of Hawaiian flair so she gets an aloha shirt, a lei, and fishhook necklace.

I have way too many blank sketch variants, but now I have one less. :D
It took me way longer than I was anticipating working the black cover. I learned a lot doing it though; techniques I can take forward for the next time.
The face is loosely based on actor Stephen Lang.
There are few characters in comics that are fashionistas; Emma Frost is certainly one of the them. Fashion is something I struggle with drawing (I'm a very basic guy). So this is good practice.
The handmade paper gave me some trouble on this one. A stray, loose fiber in the chest had to be pulled, leaving a divot, and some the surface texture wanted to erase away.

Neil Gaiman's Sandman is 35 this month. I've enjoyed that world in every iteration it's come out on and it's a source of art inspiration. I'm not a goth, but I love the aesthetic and I've always loved mythologies. Mahalo Mr. Gaiman.

Scarlet Witch.
Just taking a break from the 9x12 tone paper I've been using recently. And dipping my toes back into a bit of watercolor which I've neglected for a several months. But I ended up going mixed media with some pencil and markers over the watercolor. Still the smaller 5x7 size was a nice break.

Felt like tackling the Binary costume seen in the mid-credits of "The Marvels." Not sure if that seen will lead anywhere, but I'd be down for the Monica Rambeau Binary action.
