Disney Princesses was the theme for a Comic Jam Hawaii Drink & Draw. Normally I'd draw Mulan or Merida, but this time I decided on Jasmine from Aladdin along with her trusty sidekick, Rajah. I think Jasmine is a bit off, but like how Rajah came out. For her it was mix of the animated look with the live action attitude.

Welcome to Barsoom.

Felt like taking a shot at Dejah Thoris. She is described as barely clad except for her ornaments. I added something to maintain modesty and make it postable. Watercolors with a Tombow caligraphy pen and Sharpie paint pen. Worx battery powered heat gun to dry portions quicker.

Yes, the waist proportions are extremely exaggerated, that was intentional.

Comic Jam Hawaii did a Planet of the Apes themed Drink & Draw; I went in a weird direction and drew Zira from the original movies but I put her in a dress at The Met with Guillermo from the Jimmy Fallon show. Yes, I don't get it either, my mind just goes weird places sometimes.

The Comic Jam Hawaii Drink & Draw celebrated Mermay. I decided to draw a sort of Goth mermaid. The tail is based on a Pink Betta. Kind feels like a young Ursula to me. Minus the tentacles of course.
