The Comic Jam Hawaii Drink & Draw celebrated Mermay. I decided to draw a sort of Goth mermaid. The tail is based on a Pink Betta. Kind feels like a young Ursula to me. Minus the tentacles of course.

Comic Jam Hawaii had a Drink & Draw where we just made up monsters these are mine. I made this strange rat reptilian looking thing. Nice not to draw with any set goal in mind for once and just see where the lines take you.

The May 1st, 2024 Comic Jam Hawaii Drink & Draw topic was "Fallout." I decided to draw a vault door cracking open. The imagery and the Lucy's subsequent adventure made me think of the title of an old Dr. Seuss book.

Spent most of the weekend sketching sharks concepts for Comic Con Honolulu; winding down with this cute vampire drawing.

Some friends and I will be out and about on Free Comic Book Day. Visit your local comic book shops and libraries to score some free comics, free bookmarks, and check out the artists.

Kauai Comic Convention is just a bit over a month away and I'll be there. Now would be a great time to request a commission to be picked up there. If you request early you'll get more out it since I have access to everything in my studio rather than the limited supplies I travel with.
