Current mood: Art Nouveau

Imagine being the artisan, designing and creating these little wonders.

Days and nights of working in the flow, absorbed in the minuscule, working with the light that will reflect most splendor, quietly, bringing to life the enchanting story of a tiny universe.

Beauty in the Small.

It’s breathtaking Artemis, I’ve always loved Art Nouveau. It must have taken a true artisan months to craft this exquisite jewelry.

I'm glad you enjoy them. Indeed, each is unique and the result of much work and talent.

I find it amazing, how little things can take us away, for a moment, from the big world issues. The therapeutic, transcendental effect of art :-)

@artemis

I think art can be absolutely therapeutic in transporting us out of ourselves, which is why I’m a museum addict. When I was in High School, our choir took a trip to DC and I got to see a Monet exhibit at the Smithsonian which took my breath away. A few years later, I was at the Norton Simon museum in Pasadena and had the same sensation while looking at Renaissance Madonnas. Great art always transforms us in some way.
