Love in the time of ...Corona

Simple things matter.

💙 Wash hands properly & often
(Strange how some put on ill fitted masks but are not washing hands,)

💙 Avoid touching your face.
- Someone should invent an app recording # times/ day ppl touch their face. Train for zero touch. Make it a habit. It will serve you well, Corona or no Corona.

💙 if symptoms, talk to a doctor and follow advise

💙 Ignore fearmongering & deniers. Keep current w/CDC & WHO

💙 Kindness helps on many levels.

@artemis

Touching my face is one that I really need to work on.

When I worked as a massage therapist, the first year I caught everything that was going around--and I know that's part of the reason.

I have psoriasis and my skin gets itchy--but I can train myself to wash my hands before scratching.

Hm, that's a challenge, indeed. I am wondering if there are tricks one could do, to avoid scratching. Like only touch with a designated soft glove, gentle touch and mindfulness sort of things.

I am relatively good with that, am very protective with my face, from cosmetics to dust etc. But even for a careful one like me, I catch myself touching my face from time to time. So, I just make a mental note and keep improving my habits:-) Also good exercise for being mindful.
