@Gladari
I'm currently using Medicare. I'm waiting a few more months before drawing Social Security (I'm past the 66 & 4-month threshold, and waiting for my wife to get past this month so she's at the same threshold). I just draw a pension for now.
But yes, I don't take kindly to any politician who decides how I've performed/contributed over my lifetime (at least "after the fact").
I'm just venting. ๐
I hurt the feelings of "at"GOP by posting (on Twitter) that they can
"go jump into a lava lake".
I read an article about several GOP Congressional members who are looking to cut some Social Security benefits and Medicare benefits (and raise the retirement age).

I still use Twitter because there are friends remaining on Twitter and I don't want to lose contact with them.๐๐คท
Hi, Horrrflmlvr!
I guess he pulled it out. ๐
It'll be a circus in The House now the next 2 years. ๐ช๐คก๐คนโโ๏ธ๐คนโโ๏ธ๐คฆ
Roll Call piece:
"The six "present" votes lowered the threshold McCarthy needed to win to 215. He pulled it out with one extra. All 212 Democrats voted for their leader, Hakeem Jeffries of New York."
I see the the House as described by an LA Times opinion piece:
"...McCarthy crawled into the speakership early Saturday on his hands and knees."

Thank you, KazzyH! ๐
@TessaForDemocracy
Good for you!
Yea, a lot of stuff floating out there. The new Covid variant seems to spread quickly.
