A friend received notice a few weeks ago that their landlord will not be renewing their lease in March & needed to move out! This is after his car needed several hundred $ in repairs. He found a new place but has to pay rent for 2 places plus the cost of moving. If you have any ability to help I know he would appreciate it.

Irony is me not eating much sweets anymore…. And we received SO much chocolate and/or candy for Christmas this year. It all went into the “chocolate drawer” in the fridge. Some of it might find its way into the garbage (but not the super fancy stuff).

This week is also a wonderful time to catch up on some CEU webinars that are about to expire.

After taking half of Thursday & all of Friday off I expected my work queue to be full but all I had was 2 claims. Both bosses are out all week and all meetings were cancelled so it’ll be a good week to get some things done uninterrupted so I can start January with a few projects ready to go.

Ah ha. Plan doesn’t cover 90-day supply but it will cover 30-day. That’s why. Gosh darn it. As insurance holder it was my responsibility to know this. But now I know for next time.

It started raining about an hour ago. Everything is coated with about 1/4” of ice already. Yuck.

Snowed a bit this morning. Now it’s raining heavily and windy. Hoping for no ice storm power outage.

Oh, and yes I did end up making Festivus chicken mulligatawny on Saturday.
