Merry Christmas to me! I was told I don’t have to use 4 hours of PTO tomorrow for the half day I’m taking - I’m going to get a fully paid day off.

Passing the time until my meeting with boss then I can clock out at 11:45am and I’m not back until Tuesday.

Like a fool I allowed my work computer to restart for a system update install. That was half an hour ago and it’s stuck on update 4/6. Darn. I guess those reports will get done tomorrow.

No stent for dad. He’s got to see a CT surgeon for a consult for bypass or open heart surgery. Lots of disease in his heart apparently. They think the heartburn he’s been complaining about for years is actually angina.

Dinner at aunt and uncles house and I swear it’s 80° inside. Had to step out to the porch for some cool air.

Dad is having a heart stent put in tomorrow. Hopefully it goes well. He thinks he’s going to die.

What I fixed didn’t stick. Realized this morning they spelled a site URL wrong on the admin side. Hoping if they fix that it’ll all work again.
