Irony is me not eating much sweets anymore…. And we received SO much chocolate and/or candy for Christmas this year. It all went into the “chocolate drawer” in the fridge. Some of it might find its way into the garbage (but not the super fancy stuff).

@annamousse yes but it was such wet & heavy snow it all turned to slush and ice. If it snows on top of this and we drop to single digits and stay there it’s going to make for a miserable rest of the season

This week is also a wonderful time to catch up on some CEU webinars that are about to expire.

@timtrudell lived in Mankato for 20 years. The amount of people in that city who don’t care about the history and who brush it off like it never happened or wasn’t a big deal was stunning.

Had to unfriend/block someone this past weekend on social media elsewhere. The rabbid posting of political garbage and EXTREME defensiveness if you react with 😂 to her posts (she sees that as disagreement). Constant :asshat: praise. Will delete your comments to maintain her echo chamber. Definition of a ❄️

Dammit. IT’s phishing email got me this morning. I knew it as soon as I released the mouse button to click on it. 🤦🏻‍♀️

After taking half of Thursday & all of Friday off I expected my work queue to be full but all I had was 2 claims. Both bosses are out all week and all meetings were cancelled so it’ll be a good week to get some things done uninterrupted so I can start January with a few projects ready to go.

Ah ha. Plan doesn’t cover 90-day supply but it will cover 30-day. That’s why. Gosh darn it. As insurance holder it was my responsibility to know this. But now I know for next time.

@LadyZurk yep. I saw the weather was coming so did all our errands Saturday & yesterday morning. My brother lives 15 miles away and they’re without power.

It started raining about an hour ago. Everything is coated with about 1/4” of ice already. Yuck.

Snowed a bit this morning. Now it’s raining heavily and windy. Hoping for no ice storm power outage.

Oh, and yes I did end up making Festivus chicken mulligatawny on Saturday.

Beef short ribs are browned & in their red wine braising liquid in the oven. Hoping the forecasted ice storm misses us. #ChristmasDinner #CoSoCooks

Tried to watch Love Actually but spouse wanted something else so now we’re watching Invasion USA which is a Christmas movie….
